But I'm learning as the boys are getting older, that my kids will be really good friends and that helps make the chaos a little more tolerable! And yes, letting go of things is HARD and essential at the same time. I am trying to figure out what is most important all the time! However, I took only 2 kids to the store the other day and it was AWESOME!Mindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12982482834259064369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4213499219669709454.post-39754692436193162092011-10-05T15:01:45.759-07:002011-10-05T15:01:45.759-07:00BOO YA.BOO YA.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13915088756120459106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4213499219669709454.post-51817228868889620522011-10-05T12:17:58.070-07:002011-10-05T12:17:58.070-07:00I second Rachel's thoughts! Just add my last name. lol.

She said what I was thinking--to a t!

I definitely know what you are talking about--I have spent countless days forgetting makeup, or only putting half my makeup (forgetting to clean up the runny mascara is pretty humiliating!) or looking like I got dressed in the dark out of a Goodwill bag! :)

But being a mother to 3...or 4...or 5 and enjoying it during whatever season you're in, is the true definition of success!Rachel Hollowayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02906959500907191201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4213499219669709454.post-23592547817544291412011-10-05T08:52:39.259-07:002011-10-05T08:52:39.259-07:00Yes. Welcome to being a mother of three. That was ...Yes. Welcome to being a mother of three. That was my experience when I had Elsie, too. Those third children rock your world - but in a really good way - as long as you can let. things. go. And realize that life will not ALWAYS be like this. It changes. That's the constant. Change. :) Number three was a big adjustment for me because it took me so long to learn this lesson. I spent months and months feeling like a failure. Like I would never be able to actually accomplish anything again . . . Life was much sweeter when I just gave up :) and realized that there is only so much that I can do and THAT'S OKAY!

Loved this post. You're wonderful, Lynsey. I think I just need to call you. I'd love to hear more of what's going on in your life than just what you post on your blog.
