24 months of sunshine.

there is a lot to write about.

a visit from my dad, stepmom & stepbrother,

family bowling for our first time,

a visit from our good friend from north carolina, angel,

our spontaneous 24 hr. trip to the city of sin,

the fact that i'm going to start trauma work in group therapy and am seriously excitedslashnervous about it,

finding out {sort of} what this little baby is, and holding off to share until we actually "know" {ben's request--he's kinda funny that way},

how i feel like i have been pretty much forced to overcome my germaphobia based on our entire family being stricken with one disease after another for pretty much 2 months off and on,

my continuous work on "the fear cycle" that is totally changing my life,

that for the past 3 nights in a row leah has done some of the funniest things in her sleep and is unfortunately developing my crazy sleep habits,

how everyone in the house here got haircuts {including our daughter!  shhhh.  don't tell her dad, we'll see if he even notices.}  {and p.s. it was only a little bit and she looks soooo much better.}

or the time that ben shoved a cupcake in my face... telling me it was payback for our wedding cake {nice 8 year grudge},

or when i paid him back for his payback {see you in 8 more years, SUCKA!!},

but most importantly, on sunday how we celebrated the life of this little lady:

2 years of getting to love another little human, and then being blessed to have that little human be this beautiful girl?  

yes we've been busy, and there is a lot to write about.

but on sunday, i got to slow down and again recognize one of the biggest blessings of my life.  

that i am her mother.
