“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”
we had a perfect day.
and not because it was actually perfect, but because we spent time together recognizing again all that we have to be thankful for. it's just a matter of perspective, even through the hard things. there is always something to be grateful for, even in those moments--especially in those moments...and that is what defines our character.
the good, the bad, the beautiful, the messy, the difficult, the miracles, the ordinary, the heartbreaking, the joy, the tears, the smiles, the laughter, and most importantly...the love. i am thankful for it all, every day.

Your opener was just what I needed this holiday season.
Thank you....
Cute picture of you fixing Leah's hair.
I have been going through old photos of my mom. My all time favorites are the moments when she is doing some ordinary motherly thing. I suppose that is because I can relate to her in those pictures.
There is a picture of me crying over something as a youngin - perhaps 5 years old. My mom has her arm around me and is consoling me with a little bit of a smirk on her face. As if I was crying over something slightly comical. I love it.
Point is. You are so great at taking pictures. Nice pictures, emotional pictures and pictures of the ordinary. I am sure your kids will treasure them later.
