the torture begins
my cousin dana came over to take some pictures of leah & we got a little creative. sticking the baby in a bowl on top of a table may not be the kindest thing you can do to a newborn.
but i think it goes with the territory of smelling her bum in public to see if she's pooped, picking her boogers out of her nose in front of her friends at a playdate, smooching her on her cheeks as i drop her off to school, grilling her dates before they step out the door with her, and bawling my eyes out at her wedding with snot running down my face.
the torture has just begun, little lady. you might as well get used to it.
look how fat she looks in this one! hilarious, she's really not chubby yet but it looks like it. and you still can't see the dimples but they're there, i swear it.
ps-these are my unprofessional shots, dana's are MUCH better! will post when i can.

How cute! It's still so hard to remember how SMALL they start out!! :)
Too stinking cute. I love it!!
oh my gosh! I can't believe you'd stick her in a bowl! ;) I'm so sorry about your horrible labor! No fun, but I'm so happy Leah is doing well! My friend Holly (you remember Nate...his wife) just had a 9 lb. baby last week and had a horrible labor also. The baby is still in the hospital with juandice. Good luck with two little ones!
She is beautiful! And so tiny! Congratulations. I am to glad you are all doing well.
Take Care,
Marielle
soooo cute!!
How totally precious. I love every pictures. It shows she has pesonality already. I think I can see some of her dad coming out in her.
LOVE it! You are so dang creative!!! and I think the pictures turned out GREAT. She is such a DOLL......oh little girls. Maybe one day. Can't wait to see the "professional" ones. I regret not taking very many infant pictures with my kids, especially conner. I just never really think of it and with conner I just felt like CRAP, so I never got around to it. Glad you are such a photo person. Your kids will thank you for it later on in life!!
What a cutie!!!
This was such a fun photo shoot - still can't believe I got to be there for it in person! I love that funny face one too, though I don't think she could do anything that I wouldn't find completely adorable. Even her cross-eyed, nostril-flared, filling the diaper face is so unbelievably cute!
