i love it when the kids make toys out of anything. cans of food become bongo drums, cushions become forts, and treadmills become a vast sea for animals to shipwreck into, clinging to the tread for dear life.
this time caleb and leah chose the folded up stroller to have fun with. it started with leah crawling over to stand up and push it back and forth, then caleb hopped on for a ride. leah would yell at the top of her lungs (which i would interpret to caleb as baby lingo for "ALL ABOARD") and caleb would laugh his head off.
i love when this type of stuff happens. there have been times that i have worried about the age gap between the two kids...that they might not want to play together. but as leah gets older i'm realizing that it just takes time. for them to realize that they can find common ground even though they aren't the same gender or the same age.
and even better? i love when these games last for about an hour. it's nice to have them entertain each other. especially when they can do it and crack me up too.
P.S.- no, leah had not peed through her diaper. she had just finished having a hey-day with her sippy cup. she loves to drench herself. (which is why she wasn't wearing a shirt in the first place.) and yes, caleb is in his pj's. cause some days we roll like that.
