all around us.

after talking with a really great person in my life today,

i was reminded that

most of the time we we walk right by it and don't see it,

or there is a lot going on in our lives so we don't recognize it,

or the noise is too loud so we can't hear it,

or we're looking in all of the wrong places so we can't find it.

it is there.

in the beauty that's been created just for us,

or in the hug from a little one,

or in a specifically meaningful song,

or in the smile of a face you love,

in a kind word, or a listening ear, or a helping hand,

or in a spontaneous dance party in a strong and able body,

or just in something that makes you laugh,

even in difficult times,

or when the future is unsure,

it is there.

and by it,

i mean

he.

so for today,

i am going to look for it, see it, hear it, feel it, recognize it.

and remember.

"lights will guide you home,

and ignite your bones,

and i {he} will try to fix you."
