do blondes have more fun??

after 3 1/2 weeks of holiday cheer including a baby blessing, a wedding and a baptism in between all of the christmas madness...we are back in arizona. we had a great time overdosing on family & friends and miss them already.

however there is something to be said about no longer living out of suitcases and being able to sleep in our own bed, not to mention leaving 6 degrees to now 60 degrees feels mighty nice. there are a tramillion pictures but since i am trying to decide where to start, i will post a random one that has nothing to do with the trip...except that i had it done while i was there.

i decided to ring in the new year with a new 'do. it was a big step for me since my hair has been the same color basically since i first entered the free world.

i must admit that i am liking the brunette me. as does mr. benjamin, or so he claims. let's see if this will prevent me from chopping all the hair off, which was my other alternative.

a big ol' fat thank you to all of our loved ones for spending time with us & being so hospitable during our stay. and for those i didn't get to see....shellee & aim, mindy, cinder, tara, our idaho friends, etc...now is the time to come and visit ME! leave the ice behind & make sure to pack your flip flops.

I can totally relate to the chopping off the hair or the dyeing. I've done both, decided I hate my hair short and just stick to the dyeing (especially now I'm finding gray hair.) I'm so sorry about the phone call mess up. I stopped answering Garry's phone because I felt weird answering business calls and then he told me a girl had called for me and told her to call his phone. I asked who it was and he said, "I don't know, I think someone from the ward." Garry, Garry. He got in trouble and he felt bad. I'm glad you had a fun break here! Good luck with the last few weeks of your pregnancy! Just think I was as far along as you when my twins were born! So you should have plenty of time to do what you need! :) We would love to come down. It might be tempting. We want to go California the end of May for my sister's open house (she's marrying a guy from the Bay area.) Enjoy the warmth!
