ben's apologetic masterpiece.

(he really did just write this on the fly. what did i say about that melon-shaped head?)

in response to ben (me) putting his foot in his mouth, i have written this poem for all the pregnant ladies around the world. starting with my very favorite. my wife.

lynsey, mi amiga, strong and able
though your belly knocks things off the table
do not let it make you feel sad,
when you remember the curves you once had.
just remember in a few short weeks
as you try to sleep through cries and squeaks
your stomach may be flat again
but you may wish that baby back in.

you may look like a girl named dora,
but i think it's cute.
who could ask for mora?

That is the best apology poem I have ever read! Ben should give classes.

Loved it! Laughed out loud which if you ask Marc is saying ALOT! I never laugh at loud!! The belly will shrink (eventually) and you'll have a beautiful girl to show for it Miss you Straders :)
